Bullough was waived by the Browns on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Bullough has not appeared in an NFL game since his 2016 season with Houston, where he played 240 snaps in relief of an injured Brian Cushing. Despite playing well during that time, Houston released Bullough following a suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. Bullough failed to solidify a role on Cleveland's offseason roster, and will go through the league's waiver system.

Bullough is expected to serve as a second-stringer at inside linebacker.
Bullough, an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State, got reps at inside linebacker with the Texans during preseason, but was let go in the final cut. He has football in his genes, being the son of former NFL coach Hank Bullough, and comes from a big-time college program. He's more a two-down linebacker, and made an impression during training camp. The Texans added him to the practice squad. Inside linebacker is an area the Texans have been looking to bolster since trading away DeMeco Ryans prior to the 2012 season.
