2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Titans' big splash on the defensive side of the ball this offseason was the addition of Sneed after he and the Chiefs couldn't agree on a long-term deal. Across his first four seasons in the league, Sneed has established himself as one of the best corners in the league by picking off multiple passes in each campaign. He's also broken up 25 passes combined across the last two years. Tennessee struggled to get consistent production out of its secondary across the last few seasons, but Sneed will anchor a new-look unit for the foreseeable future. Read Past Outlooks
Officially placed on IR
Tennessee placed Sneed (quadriceps) on injured reserve Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The move is now official after it was reported Friday that this would be Tennessee's course of action. In what is shaping up as a lost season for Sneed, he'll now miss at least the next four games after already missing the Titans' previous five contests. Sneed didn't record a single pass breakup or interception in the five games he appeared in to begin the 2024 campaign. Jarvis Brownlee and Darrell Baker figure to continue handling cornerback duties for Tennessee in the immediate future.

2021
Sneed has emerged as one of the best Chiefs' draft picks from the 2020 class, posting a career-best 108 tackles (75 solo) along with 3.5 sacks, a trio of picks, and three forced fumbles in 2022. He enters the final year of his rookie deal set for a healthy payday next offseason. For now, he's entrenched atop the cornerback depth chart in Kansas City and should continue to be among the better IDP options among defensive backs once again in 2023.
