A second-round pick by the Titans back in 2020, Fulton struggled with various injuries throughout his Tennessee tenure missing 29 of 68 games. The 25-year-old signed a one-year contract with the Chargers early in the offseason presumably to start opposite Asante Samuel as one of the team's boundary corners and with few marquee options added in the ensuing months, the high-pedigreed veteran will be given every opportunity to earn that role. Fulton suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's contest at Denver.
ANALYSIS
At the time of his departure in the third quarter, Fulton had one solo tackle to his name. With Ja'Sir Taylor (leg) inactive, Deane Leonard (hamstring) ruled out of Sunday's game, and now Fulton banged up, Cam Hart and Dicaprio Bootle are the only healthy, active Chargers cornerbacks.
