Past Fantasy Outlooks
2021
2020
Chaisson played in 16 games as a rookie for the Jaguars in 2020, but he didn't deliver much production with 19 total tackles and one sack in 568 defensive snaps. The defense is expected to be improved in 2021, so the first-round pick should begin the season in a better situation to succeed.
The 21-year-old had 6.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss during his final season at LSU, and he was selected with the 20th overall pick by the Jaguars in April's draft. Chaisson is the expected replacement for Yannick Ngakoue, who received the team's franchise tag in March but was at odds with the front office. Chaisson is now poised for a significant role on Jacksonville's defense after Ngakoue was finally traded to the Vikings in August.

Chaisson signed with the Raiders practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Chaisson was let go by the Panthers at the close of training camp after signing a one-year deal worth up to $5 million with the team this offseason. He was selected in the first round by the Jaguars in the 2020 NFL Draft, though he managed only five total sacks across his first four seasons as a pro. The Raiders lost Malcolm Koonce to a long-term injury in Week 1 and Tyree Wilson is also banged up, so Chaisson could fill a need for the team along the defensive line.
