2024 Fantasy Outlook
After a dynamic rookie season as a return man, teams avoided kicking the ball to Turpin last year, and his yardage dropped from 811 in 2022 to 371. He saw more work on offense, though, and Turpin scored his first career NFL touchdowns last season - three on the ground, one through the air - despite getting only 23 total touches. With RB Tony Pollard and WR Michael Gallup both gone, the Cowboys are relying on internal options to step up, and Turpin's usage as a gadget player could increase again. The 27-year-old isn't likely to become a full-time offensive player, however. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Three grabs in Sunday's loss
Turpin caught three of five targets for 53 yards, gained five rushing yards on his only carry and added 32 return yards in Sunday's loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
The versatile third-year wideout hauled in multiple passes for the first time since Week 13. Turpin took on a slightly bigger role in the Cowboys offense down the stretch with CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) on the shelf, but his primary value to Dallas comes on special teams. The 28-year-old is one of the league's elite return men, leading the NFL with 904 kickoff return yards in 2024, and Turpin was the only player to score a TD on both a punt and a kickoff return this season. He'll be a restricted free agent this offseason.

While Tua Tagovailoa hasn't been ruled out yet with an undisclosed hip injury, all signs point to him sitting out the regular-season finale.
2023 Fantasy Outlook
The 26-year-old parlayed an MVP season in the USFL into a contract with the Cowboys last summer, and Turpin solved the team's kick-return woes in his first NFL campaign. The TCU product didn't see much action on offense, however, catching just one pass and taking a few carries on jet sweeps. While there could be some depth snaps at wide receiver available following the departure of Noah Brown, Dallas did trade for Brandin Cooks this offseason and still has CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup at the top of the depth chart. It's hard to see Turpin making much of an impact outside of his return duties in 2023.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could see expanded role sans Lamb
Turpin could have a larger role in the Cowboys' offense for the final two games of the regular season after All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to a shoulder injury.
ANALYSIS
Turpin has shown flashes of his playmaking potential this season, including on special teams, where he has registered a touchdown on both a kickoff return and punt return. He turned 14 touches into 131 yards from scrimmage over his last four games, but Turpin's big-play ability could be put to use over the last two games of the regular season due to the absence of Lamb. Turpin could operate as the No. 2 or 3 wide receiver Sunday behind Brandin Cooks if either or both of Jalen Tolbert and Jalen Brooks were to be sidelined due to a finger and knee injury, respectively.
