Paymah won't be involved as a starting or nickel corner to open the season, but the 49ers are extremely thin at the position and he could eventually find himself on the field.

Paymah will see action in 2009, as the second right cornerback on the depth chart. He is backing up Cedric Griffin and will see some work at nickelback. He had 39 tackles and one interception in 2008 for the Denver Broncos. We should see improved stats and playing time this season, but he will not be an impact player in IDP leagues.
