Shifts to injured reserve
The Seahawks placed Jones (hamstring) on injured reserve Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Jones departed Sunday's win over the Rams with a hamstring injury and has since been placed on injured reserve, meaning he'll now be forced to sit out of Seattle's next four matchups at minimmum. Ryan Neal (knee), Quandre Diggs and Johnathan Abram are currently in line to operate as the Seahawks' top safety options.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2017
A second-round pick in 2017, Jones showed his upside early in his rookie season, tallying 12 tackles and two sacks in just his third career game. He has struggled to come close to that output since, averaging just 4.2 tackles in his last 26 games. The Packers signed fellow safety Adrian Amos to a multi-year contract during the offseason and spent a first-round pick on another safety, Darnell Savage, so Jones remains behind the eight ball in his third season. His current role would provide little fantasy value, so it's not too surprising that Jones skipped OTAs in May after reportedly requesting a trade.

Pursued by former rivals
Jones is set to visit the Vikings on Friday and will also meet with the Lions sometime next week, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Jones was a second-round pick by the Packers in 2017, but started only 12 games with the team across two seasons. Still, he's just 24-years-old and boasts above-average athleticism in terms of both speed and burst. While the Vikings have dependable starters along the last line of their defense, it's certainly possible Jones catches on with a former division rival.
