ANALYSIS
Lasley spent time with the Raiders and Ravens earlier this offseason, and will now work to carve out a depth role in Detroit. The 2018 fifth-round pick has yet to make his NFL debut, and may need to impress on special teams to make the 53-man roster.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2019
2018
A 2018 fifth-rounder, Lasley had a lost rookie year and never played a down during the regular season. He had some flashes during his first preseason, but the issues that tanked Lasley's draft stock didn't disappear, either, as drops continued to plague him. Still, Lasley entered the offseason with a legitimate shot at moving way up the depth chart thanks to Michael Crabtree and John Brown's departures. Alas, the Ravens parted ways with Lasley at the end of July. His profile made him an interesting prospect coming out of UCLA, but now he'll have to fight to keep a roster spot in 2019.
If not for off-field issues and occasional drops, Lasley could have heard his name called much earlier than the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Lasley, who appeared in just nine games at UCLA in 2017, led the PAC-12 in receiving yards with 1,264 on 69 receptions and his on-field explosiveness lined up with that immense production. Lasley is mercurial, though, and that complicates his rookie outlook. On one play Lasley could be dusting a cornerback, making a great grab, and ripping off chunk yardage after the catch. On the next, Lasley could have a frustrating drop. Those sorts of lapses in focus often hurt a rookie's chance of getting on the field, especially a Day 3 rookie. The upside is there with Lasley, but with veterans topping the depth chart and questions about his hands, he'll need some luck to carve out a role as a rookie.
