Attaochu ended the 2021 campaign on IR with a pectoral injury and was released by the Bears this offseason. However, now healthy, the 2014 second-round pick is looking to work his way back onto an NFL roster. The veteran linebacker is only one year removed from totaling 52 tackles and 8.5 sacks in 25 appearances across two seasons with Denver.

Attaochu is entering the eighth year of his career, and the Bears will be the fifth team he's played for after signing a two-year deal this offseason. He could add some juice to the Chicago pass rush as a rotational player after posting 8.5 sacks over the last two seasons, and if Robert Quinn fails to apply pressure to opposing quarterbacks like last season, Attaochu could see significant snaps. It's unlikely that he'll be drafted in most IDP leagues, but he could be a player to watch on the waiver wire if he sees significant playing time.
