2024 Fantasy Outlook
Kinlaw signed a one-year, $7.25 million contract with the Jets at the start of free agency, giving Jets head coach Robert Saleh another familiar face from his time as San Francisco's defensive coordinator. The 49ers' first-round pick in 2020 was limited to 10 appearances across the 2021 and 2022 seasons by knee injuries, but Kinlaw suited up for all 17 games in 2023 and posted 3.5 sacks. The 6-5, 319-pound Kinlaw will rotate in as a run stuffer on the interior of the Jets defensive line. Read Past Outlooks

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Kinlaw will have big shoes to fill replacing DeForest Buckner on the interior of San Francisco's dominant defensive line. Unlike his predecessor, the South Carolina product is more of a run-stuffing bull rusher who is unlikely to post the near double-digit sack totals the team was accustomed to receiving from Buckner. For that reason, Kinlaw is unlikely to be an impact IDP player unless he can somehow generate gaudy tackle totals, which is difficult to do at the defensive tackle position.
