2024 Fantasy Outlook
While Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire profile as the Chiefs' top two RB options, Prince has a chance to carve out a depth role in the team's backfield out of the gate this season. As such, the 24-year-old will be an injury or two away from fantasy relevance in Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes'-helmed offense. Read Past Outlooks

Joins Miami's practice squad
The Dolphins signed Prince to the practice squad Friday.
ANALYSIS
Prince built some momentum during the preseason with Kansas City, and he now resurfaces in one of the only landing spots around the league as intriguing as his previous offense. Coach Mike McDaniel's rushing scheme seems like one Prince could thrive in, if given an opportunity, but his path to game-day activation is murky. The Dolphins have reason to be confident in both Jaylen Wright and Jeff Wilson as capable contributors if either of Raheem Mostert or De'Von Achane are forced to miss any time.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Prince was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent this offseason after handling 314 rushes for 1,723 yards and 14 touchdowns over his final three seasons at Tulsa. The rookie running back will have to compete for a spot on the roster behind Isiah Pacheco, Jerick McKinnon, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and La'Mical Perine. So far, Prince has impressed his coaches and it appears he could carve out a role as a kick returner on special teams.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
May not make team
Prince didn't do enough in training camp and the preseason to earn a spot on Kansas City's 53-man roster, according to Nate Taylor of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Taylor believes the Chiefs will keep incumbent starter and backup Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire on the roster, as well as Carson Steele, who performed well as a running back in the preseason and can also play fullback. Prince seemed to be making a strong push for a roster spot, even working ahead of Edwards-Helaire in team drills early in training camp, but he struggled with consistency as a rusher in the preseason outside of a 41-yard run in the second preseason game and also had a blunder on special teams in the exhibition opener, which cost the Chiefs a safety on a kickoff.
