2024 Fantasy Outlook
Conner played in all 17 regular-season games for the Chiefs as a rookie in 2023, though he logged more snaps on special teams (329) than on defense (292). His playing time on defense increased late in the campaign and into the postseason, however, and Conner's best game came in Kansas City's AFC Divisional Round playoff win against Buffalo, when he played every defensive snap and logged a season-high 10 tackles in addition to forcing a fumble. Conner should be a prominent part of the Chiefs' secondary from Week 1 of the coming campaign, as he's the early favorite for the starting job at nickel corner. Read Past Outlooks
Picks off Cousins in Week 3
Conner tallied 10 tackles (five solo), two passes defended and one interception in Sunday's 22-17 win over the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Conner led the Chiefs in tackles Sunday, and his 10 total tackles was a career high in a regular-season game. The 2023 fourth-round safety picked off Kirk Cousins on a pass intended for Kyle Pitts late in the second quarter, which led to a 44-yard field goal by Harrison Butker four plays later. Conner played a season-high 45 defensive snaps and has carved a larger and consistent role for himself in the Chiefs' defense. His 22 total tackles on the year is tied with Nick Bolton for most on Kansas City through the first three games of the regular season.

Intriguing option in KC
Conner is expected to play every secondary position for the Chiefs in 2024, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conner played a versatile role during his five years at Virginia Tech, picking off a total of four passes while also tallying 7.5 sacks. He played a significant role on special teams as a rookie for the Chiefs in 2023, but he could find more time in the secondary in 2024. The safety positions in particular look to be a weakness, so that could ultimately be where Conner settles in, giving him the chance to both rack up tackles and potentially interceptions.
