Cut by Texans
Beebe was released by Houston on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Beebe landed with the Texans in June after sitting out the entirety of last season due to a foot injury. The fifth-year wideout recorded a career-high 20 catches for 201 yards and two touchdowns over 14 games with Minnesota in 2020, and he will now look to carve out a role elsewhere this preseason.

The Vikings boast one of the more balanced offenses in the league, and if the defense is as leaky as last season, Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson and company could have plenty of chances to continue to cook.
One of nine tournament targets identified in the 18th round, Tyron Johnson makes a strong WR3 case with the Chargers.
Travis Etienne probably can't catch fellow first-round running back Najee Harris in redraft rankings, but in dynasty leagues it's a very different question.
With easily the highest projected workload from scrimmage, Najee Harris ranks atop the 2021 rankings for the rookie class.

In his third year with the Vikings, Beebe achieved career highs in receptions, targets, yards, touchdowns and appearances. His hands and lateral quickness led him to be the third wide receiver role over the last seven games, when he had 13 receptions and two touchdowns. It's a role that lacks significant volume because Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson get nearly all the WR targets. Beebe will have to battle promising rookies Ihmir Smith-Marsette and Whop Philyor for the job, along with veteran addition Dede Westbrook.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Won't receive tender
The Vikings want Beebe back for the 2021 season but likely won't place a RFA tender on him, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Without a tender, Beebe is set to be an unrestricted free agent March 17. The market isn't very hot for a receiver who posted a 20-201-2 line over 14 games last season, so there's a good chance that Beebe is back for a fourth season in Minnesota. However, his role could certainly take a hit, especially if the Vikings bring in a better No. 3 receiver behind Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson.
