Works out for Titans
Reed worked out with the Titans on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
With Jadeveon Clowney (knee) and Jayon Brown (elbow) out for the foreseeable future, the Titans could potentially look to the veteran Reed for some assistance. Reed played nine games for the Cardinals last season, recording eight tackles and one sack. Before that, he played eight seasons with the Falcons and Texans.

Reed started an average of 13 games per season from 2011-2014 as a member of the Texans, with his rookie campaign being arguably his best output (45 tackles, six sacks). In his first two years in Atlanta his role was far less extensive, as Reed started in 12 total games, registering two sacks and 38 tackles. That is until 2017, when Vic Beasley's shift to outside linebacker opened up an opportunity for the veteran defensive end to rack up his highest sack count since his rookie year with four. Given that the Falcons have former first-round picks coming off either side of the defensive front in Vic Beasley and Takkarist McKinley, Reed will look to settle into a rotational role this season, likely playing somewhere between 25-to-30 percent of the snaps.
