The cornerback was waived by the Vikings on Dec. 18 prior to testing positive for COVID-19 Dec. 28 after working out for the Cardinals, delaying the signing for over a week. Breeland will provide a veteran presence in the Cardinals' secondary as they gear up for a playoff run. In 13 games with the Vikings in 2021, he made 63 tackles, deflected five passes, intercepted two balls and forced two fumbles.
