After collecting at least 101 tackles in three of four seasons from 2014-2017 with the Broncos, Marshall's production took a hit last season as he missed Weeks 9-14 due to a significant bone bruise in his knee. The inside linebacker returned to 83 total defensive snaps over Denver's final three contests, but Marshall was ultimately shown the door before signing with the Raiders this offseason. Oakland also signed former Bengal Vontaze Burfict, so the pair of newcomers will compete for snaps with fellow linebackers Tahir Whitehead, Marquel Lee, Jason Cabinda and Nicholas Morrow.
