Doctson has been a bust since Washington picked him in the first round of the 2016 draft. He scored six touchdowns in 2017 but has just two touchdowns in his other three campaigns, the most recent of which he spent with the Vikings and appeared in only one game. With the Jets, Doctson was in line to compete for snaps on the outside with Breshad Perriman and rookie second-rounder Denzel Mims. However, he elected to opt out of the 2020 season.

Gets another tryout
Doctson worked out with the Cardinals on Tuesday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.
ANALYSIS
Doctson had workouts with the Bears and Giants in late July and early August, respectively, though he didn't land a deal with either club. It's not clear exactly why Arizona would need Doctson on the team given its ample depth at receiver, though both DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green have been sidelined at various points in training camp with undisclosed injuries. Doctson last played in the NFL in 2019.
