2024 Fantasy Outlook
Boswell is entering his 10th season as Pittsburgh's kicker, having produced six years with a FG percentage above 90 and two years south of 72 percent. Overall, he's sixth in career FG percentage (87.2), including 30 of 37 from 50-plus yards (81.1 percent) despite playing his home games in one of the less-friendly stadiums for kicking. Twenty-one of his 30 career makes from 50-plus yards came the past three seasons, but Boswell's fantasy value has nonetheless been marginal thanks to a lack of PAT volume (three straight years with fewer than 30 tries). The strong track record at least makes him a consideration for favorable matchups, with upside to be an every-week starter if the Pittsburgh offense breaks out of its long-term slump under OC Arthur Smith and QB Russell Wilson. Drills six field goals in win
Boswell converted all six of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's 18-16 win over the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
The Steelers were unable to reach the end zone during Sunday's divisional matchup, but Boswell was perfect when called upon, accounting for all of the team's scoring. He made three of his field-goal attempts from at least 50 yards and is now 9-for-10 on attempts from 50-plus yards, eclipsing his previous career-high mark of eight makes from that distance. The 33-year-old has attempted a league-leading 30 field goals to begin the year, and he's made 29 of those tries (96.7 percent efficiency).

Boswell made only 71.4 percent of his field-goal attempts last year, ending a three-year streak of at least 90 percent. The catch? Nineteen of his 28 attempts came from 40 yards or longer, and while he made only half in the 40-49 range, he went 7-for-9 from 50-plus. That, after going 8-for-9 from 50-plus the year before. And if 28 tries doesn't sound like many, consider that Boswell missed five games and was attached to a lousy offense. The Steelers trust him, and while the struggles on offense may continue, a talented Pittsburgh defense can help put Boswell in range for three-pointers.
