The Cardinals placed McDonald (neck) on injured reserve, Scott Bordow of The Athletic reports.

2014
McDonald wrapped up his third Bucs campaign with 36 tackles (25 solo), including three for loss, along with 3.5 sacks over 12 games. Entering his seventh season, McDonald appears as solid as ever against the run. Considering he posted the second-highest amount of stops of his career in 2016, his primary fantasy value is likely to once again derive from his tackle production. The former seventh-round pick does offer some decent push in pocket as well, but it's never amounted to more than 5.5 sacks in a single season.
The veteran tackle's 2015 season was cut short by a torn pectoral in early November, but he was on pace for a career-high 80 stops before the injury. McDonald didn't record any sacks last year for first time since 2012, however, but considering he only played in six games, the complete absence of quarterback takedowns is likely an outlier. The 29-year-old could see a boost for sack opportunities in 2016 due to the attention opposing blockers will be forced to pay the Bucs' considerably improved outside pass-rushing talent.
McDonald is expected to start alongside Gerald McCoy at defensive tackle.
McDonald was signed to help shore up the Bucs' DT rotation after recording 35 tackles, 5.5 sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery for the Seahawks last season.
