With the departure of incumbent starter Jonathan Goodwin via free agency, Tennant will likely start at center for the Saints in his second season, reports the New Orleans Times-Picayune .

ANALYSIS
Goodwin was selected to the Pro Bowl last year so his departure should not be understated. However, Tennant was drafted as the center of the future and should be capable of filling in. It also helps that the Saints return the rest of their experienced offensive line to ease to burden on Tennant.
