Cantwell was recently released by the Panthers and had been competing with Jimmy Clausen for a backup spot behind Matt Moore. He'll be the Ravens' third quarterback behind Marc Bulger.

Marc Bulger's departure puts Cantwell firmly behind Joe Flacco on the depth chart. Still, it'll take an injury to the starter before Cantwell can be considered for fantasy purposes.

A highly touted prospect out of Louisville, Cantwell will be battle it out against Tony Pike and Jimmy Clausen for the No. 2 QB spot behind Matt Moore. Cantwell has one of the strongest arms on the team, and although the Panthers drafted Jimmy Clausen this year to eventually become the team's franchise quarterback, Cantwell could surprise and get the nod if Moore falters in the regular season.
