Rest-of-Season Projections
The Saints waived Hill (triceps) on Friday, Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A triceps injury landed Hill on injured reserve last August, costing him any opportunity he had to translate his strong training camp into regular season production. Depending on how the Saints choose to handle their running back situation this offseason, Hill could be back at some point.

Hill is in competition for the role of short-yardage specialist and closer. In a similar role last year, Mike Bell rushed for 654 yards and five touchdowns in the Saints' potent attack. If Hill can beat out the favorite for the position, Lynell Hamilton, he could make for a very deep sleeper in touchdown-heavy leagues.
