ANALYSIS
Humphrey has a history with Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie (while in Green Bay), and with coach Dennis Allen (while in New Orleans), but his production has been modest since entering the league. Overall, he has racked up 13 catches for 181 yards in 24 games. He'll serve as a depth guy at TE for the Raiders.

Humphrey will compete for a roster spot as a backup tight end and special teams contributor. He only has 13 career receptions in 31 career games and should not be on owners' fantasy radars.

Humphrey appeared in one game for the Saints last year and is not a pass-catching threat. He will compete for a reserve position at tight end but will see very little playing time unless the position suffers a severe rash of injuries.

Humphrey wasn't a major pass-catching threat in 2008 (11 catches, 162 yards), but he chipped in as a blocker and on special teams. With Donald Lee and Jermichael Finley likely locked into the top two tight end spots, it will be another quiet statistical season for Humphrey.

Humphrey missed all of the 2007 season with a broken leg, but has a chance to begin 2008 as the second TE behind Donald Lee.
