All signs point to McIntosh starting the year as the Rams starting weak-side linebacker, although he'll be pushed by Justin Cole.

McIntosh had his best season as a pro in 2010. He stayed healthy all year and recorded 110 tackles. He doesn't quite fit into the Redskins 3-4 defense and as a result will have to compete for a starting role in 2011. He is likely ahead of Perry Riley on the depth chart but the coaching staff feels he lacks the skill set needed to make the team successful.

Starting linebacker. He will have to adjust playing in the new 3-4 scheme. He goes into 2010 upset about his contract but intends to participate in training camp. He was able to stay healthy in 2009 and recorded a career high 94 tackles.

McIntosh surprised everyone by returning early from reconstructive knee surgery and playing in all 16 games. He recorded 87 tackles and two sacks. He appeared fatigued at times in the second half and did not play every down. Expect him to be stronger another year removed from surgery.

McIntosh had a breakout season despite missing the final two games of the season. He finished with 86 tackles and three sacks and should be fully recovered from offseason knee surgery.

The Redskins third round draft choice in 2006 but did not see much playing time till the end of the season. He suffered a knee injury early in camp last year and lost reps early on. He starts 2007 as the Redskins starting outside linebacker. If he is able to pick up the nuances of Gregg Williams' defense he could have a break out year.

Redskins' 2006 2nd round draft pick. The Skins traded up in order to get there man. He is the favorite to replace LaVar Arrington on the weak-side. He is coming off minor knee surgery this offseason and will have to prove himself before earning the starting job. He is versatile and has the ability to play all three linebacker positions.
