Wesley will compete in training camp for a significant role in a maligned Detroit secondary.
Wesley mainly was a special teams contributor in 2006, his first season in Chicago. Expect him to see most of his time on special teams again along with an occasional appearance at cornerback.
After their secondary embarrassed itself during last year's playoff loss to Carolina, the Bears went out and signed Wesley in the offseason to bolster the weak unit. He is expected to be a reserve cornerback this season but should see a lot of playing time.
