Peelle will backup Tony Gonzalez at tight end.

Peelle is somewhat serviceable as a rotation guy, but he just doesn't matter in fantasy football.

Peelle could find it difficult making Miami's 53-man roster as he is behind David Martin, Anthony Fasano and possibly Sean Ryan on the depth chart at tight end.

Backup tight end has caught just 56 passes in five years and has no fantasy value in 2007.

Will serve as the backup to Randy McMichael, but with Peelle having only 40 catches in his career, the Dolphins will just hope McMichael doesn't get hurt.

Peelle is a second string tight end, which normally is not worth much, but this year in San Diego, it could mean something. With starter Antonio Gates in a contract related hold-out, it is possible that Peelle could hear his named called when the starters are announced on Opening Day. Previously, he has earned most of his money as a blocker, but he did haul in two touchdowns with only 10 receptions in 2004. After getting all of the preseason snaps with the number ones on offense, he could be a nice surprise for the Chargers if he is needed.

The opportunities have been scarce for Peelle during his two years in San Diego. He enters the season as a backup to Antonio Gates.
