Pitts will provides offensive line depth to the Seahawks this season. Seattle isn't especially strong across the O-Line, so Pitts could see action. But he's coming off arthroscopic knee surgery, which could be a problem in training camp.

Pitts started every game at left guard in 2004, after starting at left tackle in the two seasons prior. He could move back to tackle, if Seth Wand or Victor Riley don't claim the role for themselves. Anyway it shakes out, Pitts will start on the left side of Houston's offensive line.
Pitts was a 16-game starter at left tackle in 2003, but makes the shift to left guard in 2004 so that the massive Seth Wand could man the left tackle position. During training camp, it was the left side of the line (Pitts, Wand) that had the most difficulty, so Pitts could find himself back at left tackle.
