He then signed a five year, $30 million deal with the Colts on Sept. 1. Released by the Colts in Aug. of 2007. Signed with the Titans August 2007. Retired from football in October of 2007.

Simon retired from the NFL on Thursday, saying that practice and games were wearing on his body too much, the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
"It's just been a struggle, especially the last couple weeks, just getting my body to recover after every practice to go out there and do it," Simon said. "I hurt every day. This is something I love to do, and I tried to push it as long as I could." The No. 6 pick overall in the 2000 NFL draft recorded just one tackle in four games for the Titans this season. He finishes his career with a total of 32 sacks in 95 games.

Simon’s future in Indianapolis, and in the NFL for that matter, remains murky. The Colts would like to release him because of his chronic knee problems, but an ongoing monetary dispute must be resolved before that can happen. Although he claims he’s healthy, we may have seen the last of Simon in the NFL.
Defensive tackle who is mostly a run stuffer. While he doesn't compile many fantasy stats, he helped the Indy defense improve against the run after coming over from the Eagles.
Simon, going into a contract year, is looking to have his best season as a pro. After being let go by the Eagles, he looks forward to helping the D get to the next level.
Simon has been a presence on the Eagles' defensive line since 2000. Coming off a tough 2003 and facing a contract year, Simon will be looking to make a big contribution in 2004.
Simon is a powerful tackle who can stuff the run and attract double teams on the pass rush. In 2002, he was second on the team in QB hurries behind the departed Hugh Douglas. The pressure will be on for Simon improve upon his 2002 sack total of two.
