Kyle Lauletta

Circumstances have changed dramatically since Lauletta was named Senior Bowl MVP, and subsequently drafted by the Giants in the fourth round of the 2018 draft. A run in with police midway through his rookie campaign didn't do him any favors, but the drafting of Daniel Jones at No. 6 overall even further clouds his future in New York. The 24-year-old finds himself vying for the third-string job with Alex Tanney, and holding out hope for a spot on the 53-man roster.

Drafted in the fourth round, Lauletta will battle Davis Webb for the backup job to Eli Manning. Given Lauletta was picked by the current regime (Dave Gettleman/Pat Shurmur) and Webb the prior one (Jerry Reese/Ben McAdoo), Lauletta should be considered the favorite. At 6-2, 222, Lauletta is small for the position, and he faced lesser competition at Richmond, but he's a polished passer who put up big numbers in college and won MVP of the Senior Bowl.
