ANALYSIS
Entering his rookie season, Lawler could find himself in a bit of a pickle when it comes to finding a new home. The 23-year-old has yet to prove himself on the professional leve, which could be held against him. On the other hand, the thought of the unknown could be enticing for some teams. Given the amount of injuries that will soon come once regular season kicks off, Lawler soon could be the subject of microscopic dissection.

John Ross' injury troubles are disturbing for fantasy investors, but he at least offers upside in a round where none of the other receivers offer any floor anyway.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
2017
2016
A seventh-round pick last season, Lawler spent most of the year on the practice squad and never played in a game. He is in the mix for the last wide receiver spot this season, but he has his work cut out for him. Tanner McEvoy and J.D. McKissic likely have an edge. A big camp could change things. Even if he makes the team, though, he likely will be inactive most weeks.
The Seahawks took Lawler in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft after disappointing pre-draft workouts caused his stock to drastically fall. If he makes the final roster, he'll be a long shot to see snaps on offense with Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, and Tyler Lockett at the top of the wideout depth chart.
