Vince Mayle

Mayle, a fourth-round pick out of Washington State, was the Browns' only wideout selected in the 2015 NFL Draft. He brings a bit of size to the position (6-2, 225 pounds), a presence that will be welcomed on a roster with two receivers 5-8 or under (Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel). Mayle had a stellar 2014 campaign with the pass-heavy Cougars, hauling in 106 passes for 1,483 yards and nine touchdowns. However, concerns about drops and a slow 40 time at the NFL combine caused his stock to drop a bit. If Mayle can iron those issues out and overcome offseason thumb surgery, he could represent a nice steal for the Browns. Several veterans currently sit ahead of him on the depth chart, though, so Mayle will need to produce a quality showing during camp and the preseason to secure snaps in 2015.
