Six Teams on Bye - CLE, DAL, DEN, NYG, PIT, SF
Sunday Update complete.
Welcome to the Weekly Value Meter Rankings. This is a guide to help you decide who to start and sit in a given week. It's is not a season-long ranking nor a draft guide, and it's also not really intended as a free agent guide. While I appreciate that you want my opinion on pickups, every league is different, and your decision on whether to add/drop a particular player might also be dictated by other factors than who is rated higher in a given week.
Here are my operating assumptions for the rankings:
- The RB/WR/TE position rankings are for PPR leagues.
- The Flex rankings are for Standard leagues.
- 1 point per 10 rushing/receiving yards.
- 1 point per 20 passing yards.
- 4 points per passing touchdowns.
These are the rankings I use when I make my start/sit decisions. Please consult the rankings first before asking "Should I start Patrick Mahomes or Eli Manning?"
These are my particular rankings. If you want a second opinion elsewhere on the site, you can see our Weekly Projections.
Starting after Week 1, the rankings for the subsequent week will first post on Tuesday nights. I will then do a set of updates before kickoff on Thursday, and again before kickoff on Sunday morning.

Quarterbacks
1. | Josh Allen BUF at NYJ |
2. | Patrick Mahomes KC vs. TEN |
3. | Jalen Hurts PHI at HOU |
4. | Kyler Murray ARZ vs. SEA |
5. | *Kirk Cousins MIN at WAS Note: The Vikings upgraded at tight end in grabbing T.J. Hockenson, with Irv Smith suffering a major injury. |
6. | Lamar Jackson BAL at NO |
7. | *Tua Tagovailoa MIA at CHI Note: For the second week in a row, Tagovailoa draws a favorable matchup on the road - there should be a lot of scoring in this one. |
8. | *Justin Herbert LAC at ATL Note: ***Herbert will be without both Mike Williams and Keenan Allen.*** |
9. | *Joe Burrow CIN vs. CAR Note: Life without Ja'Marr Chase was miserable, and LT Jonah Williams helped make it worse. |
10. | *Justin Fields CHI vs. MIA Note: The Bears took away from the defense (Roquan Smith) and added to the offense, trading for Chase Claypool. |
11. | *Aaron Rodgers GB at DET Note: Rodgers (thumb) once again was limited early in the week, but cleared from the injury list on Friday. |
12. | Geno Smith SEA at ARI |
13. | Tom Brady TB vs. LAR |
14. | Taylor Heinicke WAS vs. MIN |
15. | Matthew Stafford LA at TB |
16. | *PJ Walker CAR at CIN Note: Walker will draw another start this week - not a surprise after the 62-yard touchdown pass that actually had 76 Air Yards. There's no way that Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold makes that throw. For the second week in a row he draws a defense that will be down at least one starting corner, as Chidobe Awuzie will be out for the season with a torn ACL. |
17. | Andy Dalton NO vs. BAL |
18. | *Jared Goff DET vs. GB Note: In case it wasn't clear that the Lions were on the short path to a top-three pick, they traded away one of Goff's top targets in T.J. Hockenson. |
19. | *Marcus Mariota ATL vs. LAC Note: The Falcons actually turned Mariota loose a little bit, with mixed results - three touchdown passes, and two interceptions, the latter of which really should have been a game-ender in overtime, but Carolina missed the OT kick. They may revert back to their running ways against the Chargers this week. |
20. | *Ryan Tannehill TEN at KC Note: I'm assuming that Tannehill (ankle) will return this week for the big game against the Chiefs. Tannehill was only limited at practice on Friday after missing Thursday's practice, and his status for Sunday night is still unsettled. ***Tannehill remains a game-time decision. He traveled with the team, but the Titans also elevated a third quarterback (Logan Woodside) to their active roster.*** |
21. | *Derek Carr LV at JAX Note: Couldn't lead the Raiders past midfield even once in the loss to the Saints. |
22. | *Trevor Lawrence JAC vs. LV Note: In a scenario all-too-familiar to Jags fans, Lawrence committed the type of mistake you just can't make, with his goal line interception against the Broncos. |
23. | Sam Ehlinger IND at NE |
24. | *Davis Mills HOU vs. PHI Note: Mills was held under 100 yards until the final drive, and now has a tough test against the Eagles on Thursday night. |
25. | *Mac Jones NE vs. IND Note: Jones was not at all impressive in the win over the Jets, aided by a controversial flag that reversed a pick-six, and the Jets' own failures on offense. |
26. | *Zach Wilson NYJ vs. BUF Note: Wilson might have had the worst 355-yard passing game ever - he threw three interceptions and countless throw-aways in the face of pressure, and the second of his two touchdowns was in the final minute. |
27. | *Malik Willis TEN at KC Note: The Titans limited Willis to 10 attempts (plus three sacks), and luckily they didn't need more from him with the rushing game and defense running so well. ***Tannehill is a game-time decision.*** |
28. | Dak Prescott DAL at |
29. | Jimmy Garoppolo SF at |
30. | Daniel Jones NYG at |
31. | Russell Wilson DEN at |
32. | Jacoby Brissett CLE at |
33. | Kenny Pickett PIT at |
Running Backs
1. | *Austin Ekeler LAC at ATL Note: ***Ekeler (abdomen) popped up on the injury list Thursday, only to be cleared from it after a full practice Friday.*** |
2. | *Derrick Henry TEN at KC Note: ***Henry (foot) was limited on Wednesday, then given a rest day on Thursday - after getting 32 carries and essentially being the sole Tennessee offense, that makes sense. He's clear of the injury list now.*** |
3. | Dalvin Cook MIN at WAS |
4. | Kenneth Walker SEA at ARI |
5. | Josh Jacobs LV at JAX |
6. | Alvin Kamara NO vs. BAL |
7. | Aaron Jones GB at DET |
8. | Travis Etienne JAC vs. LV |
9. | Leonard Fournette TB vs. LAR |
10. | Miles Sanders PHI at HOU |
11. | *D'Onta Foreman CAR at CIN Note: ***Foreman will enjoy another full start this week in a matchup against a banged-up Bengals defense, with teammate Chuba Hubbard out.*** |
12. | *Rhamondre Stevenson NE vs. IND Note: ***Teammate Damien Harris is unlikely to play.*** |
13. | Dameon Pierce HOU vs. PHI |
14. | *Jamaal Williams DET vs. GB Note: ***It appears that teammate D'Andrew Swift will play, but it's tentative. Look for Williams to once again be the lead back.*** |
15. | *Antonio Gibson WAS vs. MIN Note: ***Teammate J.D. McKissic has been ruled out and is visiting a specialist about his neck injury.*** |
16. | *Raheem Mostert MIA at CHI Note: Mostert might see more work this week as a result of the Dolphins' trades, but Jeff Wilson is a threat to his goal line carries. |
17. | *Joe Mixon CIN vs. CAR Note: Mixon had nine targets on Monday night, but did nothing with them, netting just 32 yards. |
18. | *Devin Singletary BUF at NYJ Note: Singletary loses out on playing time with the arrival of Nyheim Hines, at least on passing downs. |
19. | Clyde Edwards-Helaire KC vs. TEN |
20. | Khalil Herbert CHI vs. MIA |
21. | *Deon Jackson IND at NE Note: Jackson moves up a rung on the ladder following the Nyheim Hines deal. Jonathan Taylor is out this week, meaning that Jackson is the likely starter, with Phillip Lindsay, Zack Moss and Jordan Wilkins as backup options.*** |
22. | *D'Andre Swift DET vs. GB Note: Swift (ankle/shoulder) said on Monday that he's still not 100 percent, but also anticipates having a larger role going forward. ***Swift is listed as questionable. He didn't practice Wednesday, and then was limited Thursday and Friday. Coach Dan Campbell said that 'the plan is to get Swift in the game and see where he's at....' That's hardly inspiring. Swift is expected to play, but in a limited capacity.*** |
23. | David Montgomery CHI vs. MIA |
24. | *James Conner ARZ vs. SEA Note: Conner (ribs) remains 'day-to-day.' ***Conner is a game-time decision and is listed as questionable. If Conner is active, I'd put him around 30 or so, as I don't think he'd carry a full load. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, the Cardinals are hopeful that Conner can play.*** |
25. | *Kenyan Drake BAL at NO Note: ***Drake could be in line for another start with Gus Edwards missing the first two practices of the week.*** |
26. | *Cordarrelle Patterson ATL vs. LAC Note: Patterson has been designated to return to practice. It's possible that he returns as early as this week. ***Patterson has avoided setbacks in practice so far, but the Falcons won't decide about his availability until Saturday. Coach Arthur Smith stated that he wanted to keep the Chargers guessing. Patterson will be activated off IR and is set to play.*** |
27. | *Brian Robinson WAS vs. MIN Note: Robinson actually had fewer snaps than both Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic. ***Robinson is in line for more work this week with J.D. McKissic (neck) out.*** |
28. | *Cam Akers LA at TB Note: Akers is 'hoping for a fair resolution' to his time with the Rams after not getting dealt at the trade deadline. ***There's a possibility now that Akers (personal) could play this week, after rejoining the team for practice on Thursday. Akers is now expected to be active!*** |
29. | *Nyheim Hines BUF at NYJ Note: Hines was traded to Buffalo and will take on the primary pass-catching RB duties for the Bills. |
30. | Michael Carter NYJ vs. BUF |
31. | Alexander Mattison MIN at WAS |
32. | *Jeff Wilson MIA at CHI Note: Traded to the Dolphins for a fifth-round pick - he's got a better chance of earning significant playing time there than in San Francisco with a healthy McCaffrey. |
33. | AJ Dillon GB at DET |
34. | Jerick McKinnon KC vs. TEN |
35. | *Eno Benjamin ARZ vs. SEA Note: Benjamin might revert to a backup role this week, though James Conner (ribs) is still listed as day-to-day. ***Conner has been limited in practice this week and will be a game-time decision.*** |
36. | *Tyler Allgeier ATL vs. LAC Note: Allgeier's status will depend heavily on whether Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) returns this week. ***Patterson will be activated this week.*** |
37. | Rachaad White TB vs. LAR |
38. | *Darrell Henderson LA at TB Note: ***Cam Akers is now expected to be active, further muddling the Rams' running back picture.*** |
39. | Boston Scott PHI at HOU |
40. | *Justice Hill BAL at NO Note: ***Teammate Gus Edwards has missed the first two practices of the week with a hamstring injury.*** |
41. | *James Robinson NYJ vs. BUF Note: ***Robinson was added to the injury list on Saturday with a knee issue. The team is optimistic that he'll play, but he's a game-time decision.*** |
42. | *Ronnie Rivers LA at TB Note: Rivers led the Rams in carries last week, for whatever dubious value that carries. He may cede the way to Kyren Williams this week, however. |
43. | Isiah Pacheco KC vs. TEN |
44. | *Caleb Huntley ATL vs. LAC Note: Huntley could be relegated to third-string duties if Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) returns this week. |
45. | JaMycal Hasty JAC vs. LV |
46. | Rex Burkhead HOU vs. PHI |
47. | Dontrell Hilliard TEN at KC |
48. | *James Cook BUF at NYJ Note: Cook's value evaporates with the Nyheim Hines trade to Buffalo. |
49. | *Keaontay Ingram ARZ vs. SEA Note: ***After making an impact in the Thursday night game against the Saints, Ingram didn't log any offensive snaps last week. However, Darrell Williams is on the IR, so if James Conner sits out another game, then Ingram will be Eno Benjamin's backup.*** |
50. | Kenneth Gainwell PHI at HOU |
51. | Chris Evans CIN vs. CAR |
52. | *Zack Moss IND at NE Note: Moss was traded to the Colts just before the deadline on Tuesday. He had recently been a healthy scratch in Buffalo. ***The Colts are ramping up Moss as fast as he can, but more likely for a backup role behind Deon Jackson. Phillip Lindsay and Jordan Wilkins are also options.*** |
53. | DeeJay Dallas SEA at ARI |
54. | Ty Johnson NYJ vs. BUF |
55. | Malcolm Brown LA at TB |
56. | Dwayne Washington NO vs. BAL |
57. | Samaje Perine CIN vs. CAR |
58. | Raheem Blackshear CAR at CIN |
59. | *Damien Harris NE vs. IND Note: ***Harris (illness) is listed as questionable after being a limited participant Friday. Unlikely to suit up, according to Adam Schefter.*** |
60. | *Gus Edwards BAL at NO Note: Edwards's hamstring injury has been classified as 'mild' by coach John Harbaugh, and Edwards is day-to-day. ***Edwards (hamstring) has been held out of practice Thursday and Friday. Listed as doubtful.*** |
61. | *Kyren Williams LA at TB Note: Coach Sean McVay said that Williams (ankle) could be activated this week. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes over the primary role for them if he does return. I also wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't amount to much, given the state of the Rams' offensive line. ***The Rams haven't yet decided whether Williams (ankle) will be activated this week. NOPE - he will not return this week.*** |
62. | *Chuba Hubbard CAR at CIN Note: Hubbard (ankle) is trending in the right direction for Week 9 - I'll bump him up if/when he starts practicing. ***Hubbard has been ruled out against this week.*** |
63. | *Jonathan Taylor IND at NE Note: Taylor briefly left Sunday's loss by an ankle injury, though he later returned. Taylor also sat out practice on Wednesday. ***Taylor didn't practice all week and has been ruled out this week.*** |
64. | *Mark Ingram NO vs. BAL Note: Ingram suffered an MCL sprain in the win over the Raiders and will be out 3-to-4 weeks. Dwayne Washington will now back up Alvin Kamara. |
65. | *J.D. McKissic WAS vs. MIN Note: McKissic (neck) has been ruled out this week and is visiting a specialist - the team will approach his injury with caution.*** |

Wide Receivers
1. | Justin Jefferson MIN at WAS |
2. | Stefon Diggs BUF at NYJ |
3. | *Cooper Kupp LA at TB Note: Kupp injured his ankle on the last series of the loss to the Niners. Initial reports suggest that he'll be able to play this week. Kupp did not practice Wednesday. ***Kupp was a full practice participant Friday and has been cleared from the injury list.*** |
4. | A.J. Brown PHI at HOU |
5. | Tyreek Hill MIA at CHI |
6. | DeAndre Hopkins ARZ vs. SEA |
7. | *Mike Evans TB vs. LAR Note: Evans (knee) did not practice Wednesday. ***Evans is not on the injury list - essentially he was given a rest day earlier in the week.*** |
8. | Jaylen Waddle MIA at CHI |
9. | Tee Higgins CIN vs. CAR |
10. | Terry McLaurin WAS vs. MIN |
11. | *Davante Adams LV at JAX Note: Adams (illness) was still limited Wednesday after missing most of practice last week, and then getting nearly shut out Sunday by the Saints. ***Full practice Thursday.*** |
12. | Gabe Davis BUF at NYJ |
13. | Chris Godwin TB vs. LAR |
14. | Chris Olave NO vs. BAL |
15. | Tyler Boyd CIN vs. CAR |
16. | DJ Moore CAR at CIN |
17. | *DK Metcalf SEA at ARI Note: Metcalf (knee) was a limited participant Wednesday, but I fully expect him to play after he was able to play last week. ***Full practice Thursday.*** |
18. | JuJu Smith-Schuster KC vs. TEN |
19. | *Amon-Ra St. Brown DET vs. GB Note: St. Brown will get all the targets with Hockenson out, but he's also going to draw all the coverage. |
20. | Michael Pittman IND at NE |
21. | Jakobi Meyers NE vs. IND |
22. | Christian Kirk JAC vs. LV |
23. | Marquez Valdes-Scantling KC vs. TEN |
24. | *Tyler Lockett SEA at ARI Note: I like how Geno Smith went right back to Lockett after his awful drop. Lockett was limited Wednesday with hamstring/rib injuries. ***Full practice Thursday.*** |
25. | DeVonta Smith PHI at HOU |
26. | *Darnell Mooney CHI vs. MIA Note: Mooney could be helped by the addition of Claypool, but only if the Bears throw frequently enough for it to matter. |
27. | *Adam Thielen MIN at WAS Note: Thielen (knee) put in a full practice Wednesday, after briefly getting examined in the injury tent on Sunday. |
28. | *Garrett Wilson NYJ vs. BUF Note: ***Once again Corey Davis is out, giving Wilson a big opportunity for targets.*** |
29. | *Terrace Marshall CAR at CIN Note: Freed from the shackles of Matt Rhule, Marshall had nine targets last week. |
30. | *Devin Duvernay BAL at NO Note: Should get a bump in targets with Bateman once again out. ***Not only that, but now DeMarcus Robinson is dealing with a groin injury.*** |
31. | Parris Campbell IND at NE |
32. | Allen Robinson LA at TB |
33. | Rondale Moore ARZ vs. SEA |
34. | *Joshua Palmer LAC at ATL Note: Sat out Week 7 with a concussion. Palmer has cleared the concussion protocol and practiced fully Wednesday. ***Both Mike Williams and Keenan Allen are out, plus teammate DeAndre Carter is questionable with an illness.*** |

36. | Zay Jones JAC vs. LV |
37. | Drake London ATL vs. LAC |
38. | Robert Woods TEN at KC |
39. | Isaiah McKenzie BUF at NYJ |
40. | Hunter Renfrow LV at JAX |
41. | *Chase Claypool CHI vs. MIA Note: We'll see how quickly Claypool acclimates to the Bears' offense. Usually receivers are on a limited snap count in their first week with a team. ***Claypool will be limited to 10-to-35 offensive snaps this week.*** |
42. | Mecole Hardman KC vs. TEN |
43. | Marquez Callaway NO vs. BAL |
44. | Alec Pierce IND at NE |
45. | *Julio Jones TB vs. LAR Note: Jones (knee) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, but he was able to play last Thursday. ***Jones will be the clear No. 3 this week for the Bucs with Russell Gage out.*** |
46. | *Elijah Moore NYJ vs. BUF Note: Not dealt at the trade deadline - not a shocker, considering that the Jets said that they were not looking to trade him. |
47. | *DeAndre Carter LAC at ATL Note: ***Carter is listed questionable due to an illness.*** |
48. | Romeo Doubs GB at DET |
49. | *Mack Hollins LV at JAX Note: Hollins (heel) was a limited practice participant Wednesday. ***Hollins was limited at all three practices this week, but was cleared from the injury report.*** |

55. | *Chris Moore HOU vs. PHI Note: ***Bumped up with Cooks and Collins inactive.*** |
56. | *Dyami Brown WAS vs. MIN Note: Brown (groin) has been cleared from the injury list - he could serve as the No. 3 receiver with Dotson still on the injury list. |
57. | Tre'Quan Smith NO vs. BAL |
58. | Nick Westbrook-Ikhine TEN at KC |
59. | Sammy Watkins GB at DET |

67. | Khalil Shakir BUF at NYJ |
68. | *Van Jefferson LA at TB Note: Jefferson (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice. He dipped his toes in the pool last week, and it wouldn't be surprising to see a similar approach this week. ***Jefferson is listed as questionable but he's expected to play.*** |

77. | *DeVante Parker NE vs. IND Note: Parker (knee) sat out Wednesday's practice. ***Ruled out this week.*** |
78. | *Keenan Allen LAC at ATL Note: Allen (hamstring) didn't practice Monday. Allen also didn't practice Wednesday and acknowledged that his recovery from his hamstring hasn't gone as expected. ***Allen will miss another game Sunday against the Falcons.*** |
79. | *Russell Gage TB vs. LAR Note: Gage (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday. ***Gage has been ruled out again this week.*** |
80. | *Marquise Goodwin SEA at ARI Note: Goodwin didn't practice due to a groin injury. He also gets a good downgrade with Lockett and Metcalf likely to play. ***Goodwin has been ruled out this week.*** |
81. | *Nico Collins HOU vs. PHI Note: Collins (groin) has been ruled out for Thursday. |
82. | *Brandin Cooks HOU vs. PHI Note: Shockingly not traded at the deadline, but it seems that his $18M guaranteed next season was a hurdle that no team could overcome. Sat out practices Tuesday and Wednesday after not getting traded by the deadline. ***Cooks is INACTIVE.*** |
83. | *Jahan Dotson WAS vs. MIN Note: Dotson (hamstring) sat out practice Wednesday. ***Dotson (hamstring) has been ruled out again, but he could get back this week.*** |

3. | Justin Jefferson MIN at WAS |
4. | Stefon Diggs BUF at NYJ |
5. | Dalvin Cook MIN at WAS |
6. | Travis Kelce KC vs. TEN |
7. | Kenneth Walker SEA at ARI |
8. | A.J. Brown PHI at HOU |
9. | Tyreek Hill MIA at CHI |
10. | DeAndre Hopkins ARZ vs. SEA |
11. | *Mike Evans TB vs. LAR Note: Evans (knee) did not practice Wednesday. ***Evans is not on the injury list - essentially he was given a rest day earlier in the week.*** |
12. | Jaylen Waddle MIA at CHI |
13. | Josh Jacobs LV at JAX |
14. | Alvin Kamara NO vs. BAL |
15. | Aaron Jones GB at DET |
16. | Travis Etienne JAC vs. LV |
17. | *Davante Adams LV at JAX Note: Adams (illness) was still limited Wednesday after missing most of practice last week, and then getting nearly shut out Sunday by the Saints. ***Full practice Thursday.*** |
18. | Tee Higgins CIN vs. CAR |
19. | *D'Onta Foreman CAR at CIN Note: ***Foreman will enjoy another full start this week in a matchup against a banged-up Bengals defense, with teammate Chuba Hubbard out.*** |
20. | Terry McLaurin WAS vs. MIN |
21. | Gabe Davis BUF at NYJ |
22. | Chris Godwin TB vs. LAR |
23. | Chris Olave NO vs. BAL |
24. | Tyler Boyd CIN vs. CAR |
25. | DJ Moore CAR at CIN |
26. | *DK Metcalf SEA at ARI Note: Metcalf (knee) was a limited participant Wednesday, but I fully expect him to play after he was able to play last week. ***Full practice Thursday.*** |
27. | *Jonathan Taylor IND at NE Note: Taylor briefly left Sunday's loss by an ankle injury, though he later returned. Taylor also sat out practice on Wednesday. ***Taylor didn't practice all week and has been ruled out this week.*** |
28. | Leonard Fournette TB vs. LAR |
29. | Miles Sanders PHI at HOU |
30. | Dallas Goedert PHI at HOU |
31. | JuJu Smith-Schuster KC vs. TEN |
32. | *Amon-Ra St. Brown DET vs. GB Note: St. Brown will get all the targets with Hockenson out, but he's also going to draw all the coverage. |
33. | Dameon Pierce HOU vs. PHI |
34. | *Rhamondre Stevenson NE vs. IND Note: ***Teammate Damien Harris is unlikely to play.*** |
35. | *Raheem Mostert MIA at CHI Note: Mostert might see more work this week as a result of the Dolphins' trades, but Jeff Wilson is a threat to his goal line carries. |
36. | *Joe Mixon CIN vs. CAR Note: Mixon had nine targets on Monday night, but did nothing with them, netting just 32 yards. |
37. | Michael Pittman IND at NE |
38. | Jakobi Meyers NE vs. IND |
39. | Christian Kirk JAC vs. LV |
40. | *Devin Singletary BUF at NYJ Note: Singletary loses out on playing time with the arrival of Nyheim Hines, at least on passing downs. |
41. | Clyde Edwards-Helaire KC vs. TEN |
42. | *Jamaal Williams DET vs. GB Note: ***It appears that teammate D'Andrew Swift will play, but it's tentative. Look for Williams to once again be the lead back.*** |
43. | Marquez Valdes-Scantling KC vs. TEN |
44. | *Tyler Lockett SEA at ARI Note: I like how Geno Smith went right back to Lockett after his awful drop. Lockett was limited Wednesday with hamstring/rib injuries. ***Full practice Thursday.*** |
45. | David Montgomery CHI vs. MIA |
46. | *Eno Benjamin ARZ vs. SEA Note: Benjamin might revert to a backup role this week, though James Conner (ribs) is still listed as day-to-day. ***Conner has been limited in practice this week and will be a game-time decision.*** |
47. | *Antonio Gibson WAS vs. MIN Note: ***Teammate J.D. McKissic has been ruled out and is visiting a specialist about his neck injury.*** |
48. | Zach Ertz ARZ vs. SEA |
50. | Khalil Herbert CHI vs. MIA |
51. | DeVonta Smith PHI at HOU |
52. | *Darnell Mooney CHI vs. MIA Note: Mooney could be helped by the addition of Claypool, but only if the Bears throw frequently enough for it to matter. |
53. | *Adam Thielen MIN at WAS Note: Thielen (knee) put in a full practice Wednesday, after briefly getting examined in the injury tent on Sunday. |
54. | *Garrett Wilson NYJ vs. BUF Note: ***Once again Corey Davis is out, giving Wilson a big opportunity for targets.*** |
55. | *Kenyan Drake BAL at NO Note: ***Drake could be in line for another start with Gus Edwards missing the first two practices of the week.*** |
56. | *Nyheim Hines BUF at NYJ Note: Hines was traded to Buffalo and will take on the primary pass-catching RB duties for the Bills. |
57. | *Tyler Allgeier ATL vs. LAC Note: Allgeier's status will depend heavily on whether Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) returns this week. ***Patterson will be activated this week.*** |
58. | Michael Carter NYJ vs. BUF |
60. | *Terrace Marshall CAR at CIN Note: Freed from the shackles of Matt Rhule, Marshall had nine targets last week. |
61. | *Chase Claypool CHI vs. MIA Note: We'll see how quickly Claypool acclimates to the Bears' offense. Usually receivers are on a limited snap count in their first week with a team. ***Claypool will be limited to 10-to-35 offensive snaps this week.*** |
62. | Tyler Higbee LA at TB |
63. | *T.J. Hockenson MIN at WAS Note: Hockenson was traded to the Vikings on Tuesday morning - with Irv Smith out for perhaps the rest of the regular season, Hockenson could step in and play a big role immediately. ***I'm downgrading Hockenson a little bit for this week on snap-count concerns.*** |
64. | *Damien Harris NE vs. IND Note: ***Harris (illness) is listed as questionable after being a limited participant Friday. Unlikely to suit up, according to Adam Schefter.*** |
65. | *Brian Robinson WAS vs. MIN Note: Robinson actually had fewer snaps than both Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic. ***Robinson is in line for more work this week with J.D. McKissic (neck) out.*** |
66. | Alexander Mattison MIN at WAS |
67. | Parris Campbell IND at NE |
68. | Allen Robinson LA at TB |
69. | Rondale Moore ARZ vs. SEA |
71. | Curtis Samuel WAS vs. MIN |
72. | Kyle Pitts ATL vs. LAC |
73. | Taysom Hill NO vs. BAL |
74. | *Darrell Henderson LA at TB Note: ***Cam Akers is now expected to be active, further muddling the Rams' running back picture.*** |
76. | Zay Jones JAC vs. LV |
77. | Drake London ATL vs. LAC |
78. | Robert Woods TEN at KC |
Kickers
1. | Justin Tucker BAL at NO |

3. | Harrison Butker KC vs. TEN |
4. | Nick Folk NE vs. IND |
5. | Jason Sanders MIA at CHI |
6. | *Daniel Carlson LV at JAX Note: When we said that the Raiders needed to stop relying on field goals, this is not what we meant. Carlson's only kick last week was on the second half kickoff. |
7. | Evan McPherson CIN vs. CAR |
8. | Greg Joseph MIN at WAS |
9. | Chase McLaughlin IND at NE |
10. | Ryan Succop TB vs. LAR |

12. | Matt Gay LA at TB |
13. | Wil Lutz NO vs. BAL |

17. | Michael Badgley DET vs. GB |
18. | Jake Elliott PHI at HOU |
19. | Mason Crosby GB at DET |
20. | Randy Bullock TEN at KC |
21. | Greg Zuerlein NYJ vs. BUF |
22. | Cameron Dicker LAC at ATL |
23. | Joey Slye WAS vs. MIN |
24. | *Eddy Pineiro CAR at CIN Note: D.J. Moore got more blame than he deserved for Carolina's loss - yes, he should know better about taking his helmet off on the field during the celebration, but it's a dumb rule. Even still, Pineiro's missed extra point was from 48 yards - not a chippie, but not impossible in today's NFL, let alone in a dome. And then of course Pineiro completely missed a shorter game-winning field goal in overtime. |
25. | Ka'imi Fairbairn HOU vs. PHI |
26. | Riley Patterson JAC vs. LV |
27. | *Dustin Hopkins LAC at ATL Note: Hopkins (hamstring) was projected to be out 2-to-4 weeks prior to the bye week. We'll see if he's ready to go or if the Chargers will turn to Taylor Bertolet again. ***Hopkins has been ruled out. Cameron Dicker will be the kicker.*** |
28. | *Taylor Bertolet at Note: Possible replacement for Dustin Hopkins again this week. ***Hopkins indeed has been ruled out, but Bertolet has a quad injury. Cameron Dicker will be the kicker for the Chargers this week.*** |

Defenses
1. | Philadelphia Eagles at HOU |
2. | *Buffalo Bills at NYJ Note: ***The Bills might get Tre''Davious White (knee) back this week - he doesn't have an injury designation, though his status isn't official yet.*** |
3. | New England Patriots vs. IND |
4. | *Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. LAR Note: The Rams can't run the ball, but the Bucs can no longer stop the run - what will give? |
5. | Kansas City Chiefs vs. TEN |
6. | *Miami Dolphins at CHI Note: The Dolphins made the biggest swing on the defensive side at the trade deadline, adding Bradley Chubb. |
7. | Indianapolis Colts at NE |
8. | *Baltimore Ravens at NO Note: Roquan Smith is a really nice fit in the Ravens' defense, in a division that's now suddenly looking like one where the Ravens can start to pull away with the Bengals wounded. |
9. | Los Angeles Rams at TB |
10. | Green Bay Packers at DET |
11. | Los Angeles Chargers at ATL |
12. | Minnesota Vikings at WAS |
13. | Jacksonville Jaguars vs. LV |
14. | Carolina Panthers at CIN |
15. | Seattle Seahawks at ARI |
16. | *Cincinnati Bengals vs. CAR Note: Chidobe Awuzie (ACL) is the latest huge injury for the Bengals. They need Eli Apple back this week, especially after they failed to add anyone at the trade deadline. ***Apple (hamstring) will be out, but now Mike Hilton (finger) is out and Tre Flowers (hamstring) is questionable.*** |
17. | Washington Commanders vs. MIN |
18. | New Orleans Saints vs. BAL |
19. | Atlanta Falcons vs. LAC |
20. | *Chicago Bears vs. MIA Note: Bears games should be high-scoring affairs going forward, after they traded away both Robert Quinn and now Roquan Smith. |
21. | *Arizona Cardinals vs. SEA Note: ***Budda Baker (ankle) is questionable, but Byron Murphy (back) has been cleared from the injury list.*** |
22. | Las Vegas Raiders at JAX |
