West Indies vs. India: Third T20I Preview

With the series done and dusted in Florida, both teams will use the final T20I at Guyana to get accustomed to the conditions and prepare themselves for the ODIs. They are likely to tinker with team combinations for this match and we might see India rest a couple of key names for this game. This makes selecting the fantasy team a tough ask, especially with the playing XI uncertain.

Weather and pitch conditions: The Guyana surface is usually slow and sluggish and we might see a similar surface, which could prompt India to stick with their three-prong spin attack.

Player Recommendations:

Wicket-Keeper: Nicholas Pooran (9 credits)

Pooran had an illustrious start to his ODI career in the World Cup and showcased glimpses of his abilities in the first two matches of the series in Florida. Back at Guyana, Pooran will be more familiar with the conditions and his explosive middle-order batting would be something to watch out for.

Batsman: Shimron Hetmyer (9 credits)

Hetmyer hasn't had too much time in the middle in the first two games. He was dismissed for a golden duck in the first game and in the second match came in at No. 6 and faced four balls before rain interrupted him. This time he could bat higher up, maybe even open the innings, and will be one to be keenly watched out for.

All-Rounder: Krunal Pandya (8.5 credits)

All-Rounder: Krunal Pandya (8.5 credits)

Since October, Krunal Pandya has been part of every T20ai India has played. His all-round value is recognised at Mumbai Indians and slowly India are starting to get accustomed to this luxury. He played a match-winning hand in the second T20I and will possibly be pushed to do a bigger role in the final game.

Bowler: Navdeep Saini (8 credits)

Saini has been India's find of the series so far, finding pace and bounce on the lifeless two-paced wickets. Guyana could offer more of the same and Saini will be a huge test for West Indies' vulnerable batting line-up. A good performance in the final T20I will almost certainly earn Saini an ODI debut in the first match of the series at the same venue three days later.

Captain: Navdeep Saini

Vice-captain: Krunal Pandya

Predicted Playing XI:

West Indies: Evin Lewis, Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Carlos Brathwaite, Keemo Paul, Khary Pierre, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas

India: Rohit Sharma/Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Navdeep Saini, Khaleel Ahmed
