Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Mumbai Indians: 19th IPL Match Preview

Both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumabi Indians are going into the game with a win in their last match—Mumbai Indians defeated CSK by 37 runs, while SRH have been on a roll recently, winning their last three games on the trot. They have been led by the destructive pair of Jonny Bairstow and David Warner, who have been giving them the desired starts match-after-match.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand have been led by their bowling attack, with the Pandya brothers holding they key for the side. The track at Hyderabad is expected to be yet another belter, which should assist Mumbai's batters, especially Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav.

However, both sides have been let down by their iffy middle-order. The likes of Yuvraj Singh and Kieron Pollard for MI, and Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan for SRH have been inconsistent, and they would want to regain some sort of form before the business end of the tournament is upon them.

Player Recommendations:

Wicket-keeper: Jonny Bairstow (9 credits)
Jonny Bairstow has been leading the charge for SRH at the top of the order, along with David Warner. He smashed a hundred against RCB and continued his form against Delhi Capitals too, scoring 48 from 28 balls, in a game where his illustrious opening partner struggled. The Englishman has smashed 246 runs thus far in four games, with a strike-rate of 167.34. Though Quinton de Kock is in fine form as well, Bairstow has played at

The Englishman has smashed 246 runs thus far in four games, with a strike-rate of 167.34. Though Quinton de Kock is in fine form as well, Bairstow has played at Hyderabad before and will know the conditions better. Also it is tough to overlook him in this kind of form, so he is the preferred keeper.

Batsman: David Warner (11 credits)
As mentioned, Warner and Bairstow have been the premier players for SRH thus far, with partnerships of 118, 110, 185 and 64 in four games. Though the Aussie struggled against Delhi, he is still the highest run-getter in the IPL 2019, with 264 runs. His strike-rate of 161.96 makes him a dangerous player, and with Warner back in familiar territory at Hyderabad, he could be the player to watch out for.

All-rounder: Krunal Pandya (8.5 credits)
Krunal Pandya offers some big hitting options down in the batting order, but most importantly, it will be his spin bowling that will be of importance in the game. Though he has not yet flourished like his brother has in the tournament, on a spinning deck, Pandya's slower deliveries could be of great importance. He has picked up 2 wickets thus far, and has scored 85 runs from 54 deliveries at a strike-rate of 157.40.

Bowler: Jason Behrendorff (8 credits)
The player played his first IPL game against CSK, and impressed as he finished with 2 wickets from 4 overs whilst conceding 22 runs. He bowled with control and accuracy, and his partnership with Mitchell McClenaghan and Jasprit Bumrah will be one to watch out for.

Captain: David Warner
Vice-captain: Krunal Pandya

Predicted Playing XI:
SRH: David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Vijay Shankar, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Siddarth Kaul

MI: Quinton de Kock, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Jason Behrendorff, Rahul Chahar, Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah
