Bangladesh vs. West Indies: ICC World Cup Match 23 Preview

Bangladesh and West Indies are ready to face off in the 23rd match of the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup at Taunton on Monday. Both teams will enter the contest needing a win to keep their hopes alive of qualifying to the next round. The Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton will be used as the venue for the game on Monday. In the last match at the ground, Australia defeated Pakistan by 41 runs. Pitch is expected to be a good one for batting while the weather is expected to stay fine throughout.

Bangladesh will start the match with just three points after first four games and would need a win to move as high as fifth on the league table. Shai Hope is one of the most in-form wicketkeeper-batsman in white-ball cricket. The 25-year-old has represented West Indies in 58 ODIs, where he has scored 2,337 runs at an impressive average of 49.72 and with a strike-rate of 75.50, which included six centuries and 11 fifties. 

All-rounder: Shakib Al Hasan (10 Cr)

Shakib Al Hasan is the premier white ball all-rounder in the world of cricket. The 32-year-old is in exceptional form for Bangladesh in the ongoing competition, both with the bat and ball. The Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder is the highest run-getter for his team with 260 runs in three innings at an outstanding average of 86.66, whereas he also has three wickets to his name.

Bowler: Mustafizur Rahman (9 Cr)

Mustafizur Rahman is a proven talent in white-ball cricket. The left-arm pacer has represented Bangladesh in 49 matches in the 50-over format, where he has 87 wickets to his name at a strike-rate of 27.09.
