Declares for draft
Levis announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he won't play in Kentucky's Dec. 31 Music City Bowl game against Iowa to begin preparing for the 2023 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Levis has an opportunity to be a first-round pick and potentially among the top three quarterbacks selected in the draft, with Alabama's Bryce Young and Ohio State's C.J. Stroud also likely to be high selections if they leave school early. Levis concluded his senior season at Kentucky with a 65.4 percent completion rate for 2,406 yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions to go with two scores on the ground.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2021
Levis flashed his versatility in his first season at Kentucky. After playing sparingly at Penn State, Levis completed a career-best 66-percent of his throws for 2,826 yards, 24 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Levis also rushed for 376 yards and nine additional touchdowns. Consistency will be the next step in development for Levis, who had several big games last season but also put forth a couple of duds, particularly against stiffer competition. Ball security will also be an area to look for improvement. Still, there is a lot to like about Levis coming off a 10-3 season for the Wildcats, as bell cow Chris Rodriguez returns to stabilize the offense while the presence Virginia Tech transfer Tayvion Robinson should soften the blow of losing Wan’Dale Robinson to the NFL.
