Division II Ashland announced Feb. 5 that Bridges signed with the program as a member of the 2020 recruiting class.
ANALYSIS
A transfer from Michigan State, Bridges is eligible to compete right away at his new school since he'll be playing outside of the FBS ranks. The rising redshirt junior was recruited as a running back and logged 16 carries for 53 yards in the 2018 season before moving to receiver last spring. He didn't record any statistics for the Spartans in 2019 before entering the transfer portal in mid-October. Bridges will switch back to running back as he begins his career at Ashland.
