Ty Keyes

Desperate for a spark at quarterback, Southern Miss turned to the true freshman Keyes. He showed some upside…and then proceeded to suffer a lower-body injury that kept him out for the rest of the campaign. Keyes is healthy now – and still maintained freshman status – and appears to be the quarterback of the future for the Golden Eagles. Can Keyes prove that to be the case? There is still a lot to see from Keyes, so betting on him already may be presumptuous. Let’s watch and see what he can do with some experience under his belt first.
