Dye is officially set to miss the remainder of the 2022 campaign after awkwardly contorting his knee in the first half against the Buffaloes, though the exact diagnosis for this injury is still unknown. The senior transfer was a major contributor in each of his previous three seasons with Oregon, and he'll finish 145 rushes for 884 yards and nine touchdowns to go along with 20 catches (on 25 targets) for 194 yards during his first year with the Trojans. Dye's absence marks a significant loss for USC's already under-manned offense, leaving likely No. 1 back Austin Jones with big shoes to fill while true freshman Raleek Brown provides additional rushing help moving forward. The graduate senior should have at least one more year of collegiate eligibility should he forego declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.
