Returns to practice
October 9, 2020
Green (foot) is participating in Northwestern's resumed practices, InsideNU.com reports. "It'[s been great to have TJ back out there practicing this week. I'm so happy for him. He has worked just tirelessly to get back from this injury," said head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
ANALYSIS
Green sustained the injury in the 2019 season opener against Stanford and later had surgery, missing Northwestern's final 11 games as a result. The NCAA granted Green a medical waiver on account of the injury, so he'll be back with the Wildcats for a sixth season this fall. It's not clear where he fits into the QB mix, but he's likely behind Peyton Ramsey, Andrew Marty and Hunter Johnson for the starting job.
