Heading to next level
January 15, 2021
Scott announced via his personal Twitter account that he will declare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Scott will forego his senior season at Indiana and instead look to take his talents to the NFL. Over three years with the Hoosiers, Scott compiled 2,543 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns, though his production has dwindled since his first year with the program. Scott ran for 1,137 yards (5.0 YPC) back in 2018, but in 2020 he had just 561 yards (3.6 YPC). He also had 55 catches for 383 receiving yards and two scores during his time at Indiana.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Scott rushed for over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns as a freshman, and he was primed to do that again in 2019. Unfortunately, Scott suffered an injury late in the year and missed Indiana’s final two games, including the Gator Bowl. Even so, he managed 845 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns in his sophomore campaign. Clearly, the Hoosiers are content to have Scott as their primary back, given that he’s been in that role for two seasons now. Presuming there are no lingering health issues, Scott will likely be looking to add another 1,000-yard campaign to his resume after having one taken from his by injury last season.
