Will miss remainder of season
Cobbs will miss the remainder of the 2023 season, John Wustrow of The Idaho Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Cobbs suffered an injury during last week's game against Fresno State that is set to cut his 2023 campaign short. The 6-foot wide receiver finishes the year with 23 receptions on 43 targets for 241 yards and one touchdown. Billy Bowens and Chase Penry could see increased roles.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2022
Cobbs effectively missed the final three games of the season for Boise State. He did play in the bowl game, but perhaps just for the experience, or as a decoy. The receiver only played nine snaps and was only targeted once. Even before that, though Cobbs wasn’t doing a ton. He finished the season with 29 catches for 396 yards and two touchdowns. One notable thing about Andy Avalos’ first season as head coach of the Broncos was the reliance in the running game, especially once Taylen Green took over under center. Three Broncos rushed for over 500 yards, including Green, but only one player with over 500 receiving yards. With both of Boise State’s top backs returning, and Green under center from day one, the passing game, and Cobbs, may not be at the forefront once again. The upside here feels limited, especially with the top-two receivers for the Broncos also returning.
