Shocky Jacques-Louis

Jacques-Louis transferred to the MAC in an effort to become more of an offensive focal point after being largely overshadowed at Pittsburgh. The wideout is more of a victim of circumstance, as he barely played as a freshman, then dealt with spotty quarterback play until Kenny Pickett broke out and fell in love with 2021 Biletnikoff winner Jordan Addison. The Zips have limited experience at wideout, so despite Jacques-Louis’ uninspiring 1,010 receiving yards and three touchdowns over four seasons, he should compete for an alpha role immediately. It’s worth noting, however, that Akron is looking at a shaky quarterback situation, with little returning experience between presumed starting candidates Joey Marousek and DJ Irons.
