2024 Fantasy Outlook
Sanders enters the season as one of the top prospects at the quarterback position and is likely to be drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2025. Despite inconsistent offensive line play in 2023, Sanders completed 69.3 percent of his passes for a school-record 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns versus just three interceptions. Colorado hit the transfer portal hard this offseason and seems to have improved the offensive line, though it remains a question mark. What's not a question mark for the Buffaloes is the wide receiver group, pairing Sanders with one of the best units in the country. The unit consists of returnees Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn and adds incoming transfers Will Sheppard (Vanderbilt) and Lajohntay Wester (Florida Atlantic). Sanders likely has another big season on deck for the Buffs and should be drafted as such. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
In what was likely his final game as a collegiate quarterback, Sanders didn't have the best day in a loss to BYU. His ninth and 10th interceptions of the season encompassed just his second game with two picks in 2024. Sanders now looks towards the NFL after posting 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while completing 74 percent of his passes this season.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
It’s no surprise that Deion Sanders’ son followed him to Colorado, where he will take over duties at quarterback. Several other Jackson State players also entered the transfer portal to join their head coach, and we should expect to see a very different team in Fort Collins. Sanders should prove to be a solid upgrade at quarterback, a position that has been a deficiency for the program in recent years. Sanders threw for a whopping 40 touchdowns against only six interceptions for Jackson State in 2022, and sported an impressive 70.3 percent of his passes. Although he may get some competititom from incoming freshman Ryan Stuab, there’s little doubt that he’ll be the top signal-caller for the season-opener against TCU.
