SaRodorick Thompson

Thompson will be one of the most experienced players at Texas Tech as he enters his fifth season with the team. Despite dealing with some suspensions and injuries over the last couple of years, he's logged at least 100 carries in each of the last three seasons and has amassed 28 total touchdowns over that span. He likely will be part of a committee with Tahj Brooks who averaged an impressive 6.5 yards per carry which ranked third in the conference for running backs who had at least 80 carries. Meanwhile, Thompson averaged 4.7 yards per carry, but expect both backs to have more opportunities in a new offense which will play at an even higher pace and should be playing from behind most of the time.
