Texas Tech's best player in 2023, Brooks rattled off 1,542 rushing yards and ranked fourth in the country in rushing production. Brooks has amassed 25 career touchdowns in his three years with the Red Raiders and can really do it all with the ball in his hand. From Week 3 through Week 12, Brooks averaged 137.6 yards on 25.7 rushing attempts (5.4 YPC) and was just two yards shy in Week 7 of stringing together nine straight 100-yard rushing performances.While his career-best 29 catches amounted to only 69 receiving yards last season, he finished with 164 and a touchdown on 27 grabs the year prior, so there's certainly hope for improvement again on that front as well. Brooks has a knack for making defenders miss, and there's a great chance he will put forth his second consecutive 1,000-yard rushing season with the Red Raiders in 2024. Read Past Outlooks
Runs for season-high 188 yards
Brooks recorded 23 carries for 188 yards and three touchdowns and caught both of his targets for 35 yards during Saturday's 52-15 victory against West Virginia.

Brooks rushed for over 100 yards in every single game he appeared in during the 2024 season. He's been arguably the best running back in all of the country and particularly in the Big 12 Conference. Not only has he racked up 1,505 yards in just 11 games, but he also has 18 total touchdowns. Stay tuned to see if Brooks makes an appearance in the team's bowl game or if he opts to prepare for playing on Sundays which he's primed to do.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Brooks seem to have some ability and was certainly a productive ballcarrier for Texas Tech last year, but his pass-catching history is limited and he's stuck in one of the country's most crowded backfields. SaRodorick Thompson has functioned as the RB1 for the last three years and Xavier White is no slouch, so it's not clear how much Brooks might be able to build on a 2021 season that saw him average 6.5 yards per carry. It doesn't help that Texas Tech has a weak defense that tends to leave them playing catch-up.
