Past Fantasy Outlooks

2011
Sanders should serve as Kentucky's primary running back in 2012, but he'll still probably lose a good chunk of work to Jonathan George, especially in the passing game. Sanders will deal with further instability due to Kentucky's new offensive scheme and the loss of guard Larry Warford, so he's probably not an option outside of SEC-only leagues.
Sanders has a little talent as a shifty pass-catching back, but he failed to average four yards per carry in his two seasons at Kentucky and will lose a lot of carries to Josh Clemons and CoShik Williams. Sanders is off the fantasy radar in all scenarios.
Sanders is poised to take over the top spot in the Kentucky running game, but that doesn't necessarily mean much. Kentucky's offense this year could be disastrous, as quarterback Mike Hartline, running back Derrick Locke and receivers Randall Cobb and Chris Matthews are all gone. Moreover, Sanders averaged just 3.7 yards per carry last year, while just about every other runner on the team was far better. Nonetheless, Sanders seems to have the blessing of the Kentucky coaching staff for whatever reason. Sanders' value is perhaps highest in PPR leagues--Kentucky runners combined for 69 receptions last year. Sanders has a great chance to exceed 40 on his own.
