Valentine announced Dec. 11 via his personal Twitter account that he will transfer to South Carolina.
ANALYSIS
After missing most of his true freshman season at South Carolina in 2018 while recovering from knee surgery, Valentine reported to fall camp healthy but didn't stick around long, as he entered the transfer portal Aug. 6. Since Valentine didn't see any action in 2019, he's expected to be immediately eligible at South Florida next season as a redshirt sophomore. He'll vie for a rotational role in the Bulls' backfield.
