While some transfer moves don't work out, that can't be said for Webb, who, after a year among the JUCO ranks, joined South Alabama's backfield last season and dominated the workload, accounting for 45 percent of the team's carries en route to 209 rushes for 1,063 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground and another 21 grabs for 213 yards and a pair of scores as a receiver on 25 targets. Given the continuity among the coaching ranks and under center with Carter Bradley, there's reason to anticipate a similar season on tap for Webb in 2023.
