Not on depth chart
Doerue is not listed on the Golden Bears' depth chart for their game at North Texas on Sept. 2.
ANALYSIS
With Doerue's absence from the Golden Bears' latest depth chart, hit appears he's not slated to be a regular part of the backfield rotation. Doerue transferred from Purdue in May, presumably to get more opportunities after he saw a significant dip in output from 2021 (689 all-purpose yards) to 2022 (154 all-purpose yards).

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2020
Doerue returns to Purdue after serving as the team’s No. 1 running back in 2021, albeit in a limited role as an actual rusher. The 5-foot-10 back totaled 135 carries for 533 yards and two touchdowns and recorded more than 20 rushes in a game just once last season. Nevertheless, Doerue is still far and away the most prolific returning rusher in the Boilermakers’ backfield after fullback Zander Horvath’s departure for the NFL. Doerue’s potential as a rusher has largely been capped in Purdue’s pass-first offense which has lacked a proficient run-blocking offensive line over the past three seasons. The senior running back was able to contribute as a pass catcher last season, hauling in 20 passes for 156 yards, and he should be the presumed starter in the Boilermaker’s efficient passing offense once again.
